CORY LEE HITS THE RUNWAY DURING |FAT|

SINGER CORY LEE AND HER SUPERMODEL STRUT ARE GOING TO TEAR THIS YEARS |FAT| PARTY UP

For immediate release; april 23rd, 2012-

Singer/Songwriter/Actress Cory Lee is scheduled to perform the newest single to hit Canadian airways off of her 3^rd studio album this upcoming Wednesday during Fashion, Arts Toronto week, or better known in the industry as |FAT|. Opening the show for Ottawa women’s wear designer Rachel Sin, it seems as if Cory wrote the song for the runway. Aptly named Fashion Show, the song has been gaining a lot of traction on the radio and MuchMusic, as well as all over Asia where it was released early this year, with the full album release slated for summer 2012. Fashion Show speaks about a woman who uses her supermodel strut, fierce attitude and seducing poses to captivate an audience, something Lee has down pat as she has been performing since early childhood, and can be found capturing the hearts of her male students weekly on Much Music’s Degrassi.

A staple front-row guest for many top Canadian designers who show during Toronto Fashion Week, Lee has become a known industry fashionista, a term which describes a confidently dressed woman who presents herself as an ambassador of style. Lee takes pride in her keen eye for design and quality, and along with her style team she manages to mainly purchase, wear and promote Canadian clothing lines. Lee expresses that; “As a Canadian Artist who loves to support our country’s brands, performing at |FAT| will be exciting to me because it brings my love of fashion and my love for performing live together”.

Once a year in April, |FAT| takes place bringing the most creative in fashion and art together to present and perform hand in hand andfeatures 200 national and international fashion designers, visual artists, bands and performers. The venue, always a large open loft space, will house street fashion fanatics that will crowd the 80ft runway to see Lee perform while supporting Rachel Sin and her latest F/W 2012 collection.

Cory Lee will perform Wednesday April 25^th at 8pm during the Rachel Sin runway show during |FAT| in Toronto which runs from April 24^th-28^th and takes place at 213 Sterling Road. To purchase tickets to the runway show, visit www.fashionarttoronto.ca.

Remembering just how sweet 1985 was…

We just received the latest shipment for the new season from our jewelry designer clients SWEET1985, and it’s seriously awesome! Designed in New York and California from locally sourced green materials, and hand casted elements by designers Jenifer Toby and Berenice Diaz. Beautiful swarovski elements for the women and found Asian and African details for the guys make this line unisexually friendly! Check out images of the awesome campaign!

ALIENS- CYDELIC by choryin S/S 2012 @ LGFW Toronto

This season B.A.D PR produced the new Spring Summer collection Aliens by our client CYDELIC by Chor yin Choi at LGFW. The show was amazing. the music, backdrop, models, guests, and clothing…oh the clothing.

With a theme like ALIENS, one could imagine how this collection would turn out. It was the best interpretation possible! A perfect mixture of avant garde art pieces and ready to wear garments mixed with fabulous styling by Joelle Litt and hair+makeup by magic men Eric Delmonaco and Eddie Malter. Shot by Natalie Castellino and video by Jay Banks (twitter: @mrebanks), this show was nailed!

The real highlight of the show were the bags. Created and produced by Chor Yin, the new line of handbags were not only artistic and original, but completely out of this world! Created with the idea of “alien meets animal hybrid”, Choi is definitely challenging the norm when it comes to accessories. Just recently we held a pop up shop event at BAMBOOZLE, a yearly fashion and art extravaganza hosted by SEVENcontinents, an amazing visual display production company of which Choi is lead design consultant, where he premiered his new bag collection.

All in all the show was amazing. There are very few shows where you can just let go of expectations and really have fun! it seems as if the CYDELIC brand knows how to produce fun in the strictest sense of the word. We can be sure next season will be even bigger!

So at B.A.D we have been revamping a bit. We all change our personal style no? Yes. So, we decided our business style needed to change a bit!

You will be able to see what we really do because lets face it, we could talk about ourselves all day, but it may be better to talk about you all day instead! after all, we are in public relations…
